Asda shoppers praise Encanto’s loaded book with figurines that ‘make great cake toppers’
Asda began selling a “busy book” Encanto, and shoppers with children rushed to rent the “cheap” item.
According to a post from the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, the budget retailer is now offering an activity book based on the Disney hit.
The book includes “a storybook, 10 figures and a playmat”, making it perfect for keeping children’s attention for a little while.

Busy Books are specially designed books for toddlers and preschoolers to practice newly learned skills and even learn new ones.
Posting on Facebook, the keen-eyed Asda shopper wrote: ‘Encanto busy book… £7 in Asda for 10 characters’.
Before long, the post had garnered massive attention – with 800 likes and nearly 2,000 comments from other buyers.

One of them said: “Oh great, I’m going tomorrow!”
“I need to go to Asda,” echoed a second.
“They are lush, aren’t they,” commented a third.
“It’s a bargain. I just paid £20,” revealed a fourth.

Meanwhile, one happy customer shared, “Just got my little one today, she loves it.”
Some Facebook users even suggested using the figurines for other purposes.
One said: “These figurines also make great cake toppers”
“These are good for birthday cakes,” agreed another.
Not everyone was a fan of the figures from the loaded book, however, with one band member stating, “They all look really creepy. They always do from those books”.
