Community meetings bring people together to exchange ideas and share memorable experiences. Here is a sampling of meetings in the San Fernando Valley.

February 7

Wings on Wendy: Veterans of all services and ages, and their supporters, meet from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Monday of the month. Guest speakers scheduled for meetings. Santa Clarita Choir Again: A non-profit musical arts program for ages 55 and older begins with a rehearsal, 4-6 p.m. Auditions are not required. The introductory rehearsal is free; $150 tuition (covers the cost of music and facilities). Rehearsals take place on Fridays. New singers accepted until March 4th. The choir is preparing for a 12-week semester for a spring concert “Santa Clarita Encore Chorale Goes to the Theater” on May 13. Must be fully vaccinated and able to sing with a mask. Soup ‘R Bowl CSUN Food Pantry Drive to First Presbyterian Church in Granada Hills: Donate canned soup and other canned items, dry canned items and pasta, and hygiene items from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 12 and 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. 30 p.m. on February 13.
